My wife got her car towed, it’s costing us nearly $300 to get it back, and they’re now 30 minutes late for when they said they would meet us.
Happy Saturday...

Sorry to hear that; hopefully it’s painless otherwise. I forgot to put a visitor’s pass on my car in a parking garage a month or so ago and came back after one night to no car. They assured me there was no hurry to pick it up after I asked when to be there by- no fees! Got there and paid $50 extra for being late. Now I’m saving up for fiberglass repair because there’s no way to get my car pulled out from behind without screwing up the underbody but some greedy asswipe knows there’s no way to prove damages.

Why was it towed?

She apparently parked one spot over from visitor parking at a friend’s apartment.

In the best way.

We barely have enough for what they told us on the phone, so they had better not ask for more.

How can she sleep at night?

Haha she actually felt really bad, and didn’t sleep very well last night.

Personally, I would have a cop friend hang out while the car gets either picked up or delivered.
Luckily I parked in a spot years ago that I shouldnt have, and I beat the tow truck back to my car thanks to a really nice shop owner across the street that recognized me and told me a truck was coming for me.

Well it all went well when he showed up. He was pretty friendly, although not the brightest and pretty in-bred looking.

That’s really unfortunate. The money this is costing me really needed to go into improving my car—not putting holes/cracks in it—so I understand. I’d call your local police department for starters, because the towing company can charge no more than $100 if it’s not reported (at least in my state). That’s a slim chance but worth a try. I hope it works out; towing is some shady stuff.
